The United States Department of Justice (DOJ) on Friday announced a tax prep business owner from Cuyahoga Falls will be facing charges in relation to alleged tax crimes.
A 16-year-old girl was charged with grand theft auto of a motor vehicle after stealing a vehicle from a recreation center on Wednesday afternoon, according to the Westlake Police Department.
A catalytic converter thief is on the loose, Cleveland Police confirmed, and detectives are hoping someone recognizes the car allegedly involved in the theft to track down the suspects.
“The deputy followed the department’s policies and procedures and did what he was supposed to,” Sheriff William Niemi stated. “This was a tragic incident that could have been avoided.”
