Northeast Ohio weather: Rainy and windy Sunday to wrap up the holiday weekend
CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - The pattern is changing into the weekend as rain chances return overnight.
Temperatures slowly dip into the 40s.
After midnight, rain starts to roll in from the southeast. This will be a widespread rain opportunity for Northeast Ohio.
Winds will start to pick up around midday with winds gusting at times upwards of 40 mph.
Scattered showers continue into Sunday afternoon as temperatures climb into the mid 50s.
A cold front will usher this activity to the east Sunday night as temperatures fall into the 30s.
We will see more clouds across the area Monday with daytime highs only rebounding into the low to mid 40s.
Temperatures will warm into the 50s Tuesday and Wednesday as our next system approaches bringing another opportunity for rain midweek.
