Northeast Ohio weather: Light rain for some tonight, cloudy end to the weekend

CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - Clouds continue to hang around Northeast Ohio tonight as temperatures hold steady into the upper 30s.

A chance for rain returns overnight. Activity will be scattered in nature.

Any light rain clears by sunrise Sunday, but the clouds will stick around the area throughout the day.

Temperatures Sunday will be into the upper 30s and lower 40s.

A little drizzle or lake effect rain and snow showers cannot be ruled out Sunday evening into Monday morning.

Overall, it will be a drier start to the work week.

Tuesday will bring about more sunshine to the region before more clouds return through the end of next week.

The team is monitoring better chances for rain and snow Wednesday night into next weekend.
