Man wanted for stealing generator from Cleveland business, police say
CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - A man accused of stealing a generator from a business on the city’s West Side, Cleveland Police confirmed, and detectives need help identifying the suspect.
The suspect stole the generator from Mystic Chemical Products at 4510 West 160th St. on Jan. 4, according to police.
Police said he disconnected the generator from the back of a work vehicle and put it in the back of a burgundy four-door sedan.

Laura Boggs works nearby Mystic Chemical Products. She told 19 News it’s the first time she’s heard of the theft.
“It makes me very angry but there’s nothing I can do,” said Boggs. “It makes me a little more nervous.”
She said he business moved their office from downtown to W160th St at the start of the year, she admits she now questions her own safety.
“I mean if they would put as much ingenuity into finding a job as they want to breaking into someplace and steal something. This one would be a much better place,” said Boggs.
She said her hope is that police will catch whoever is responsible and to help keep everyone else at ease.
