Northeast Ohio weather: Cold night ahead, warming steadily through the weekend
CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - A bitterly cold Arctic air mass has moved into our area.
Winds will back off a little bit tonight, allowing the wind chill temperature to rise above zero from time to time.
However, it will still be quite chilly.
The 19 First Alert Weather Team is forecasting overnight lows in the single digits tonight!
The wind chill will, once again, dip down below zero Saturday morning.
By Saturday afternoon, wind chill temperatures will rise into the 20s.
Speaking of the weekend, a slow thaw will occur Saturday and Sunday.
High temperatures will top out in the lower 30s on Saturday and in the lower 40s on Sunday.
Expect quiet and dry conditions through the weekend.
Rain chances and temperatures back into the 50s return next week.
