CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - After a week of beautiful, warm weather, a strong cold front will move through our region on Sunday.

This system will bring us showers and thunderstorms on Sunday afternoon.

Some storms may be strong to severe.

The peak timing for storms will be from 3:00 p.m. through 10:00 p.m.

The main threat with storms will be damaging winds.

In the meantime, temperatures will remain unseasonably warm through the weekend.

Saturday, temperatures will soar into the mid to upper 70s.

Sunday will be another warmer-than-average day with highs near 80 degrees.

In the wake of Sunday’s cold front, temperatures will tumble early next week.

Highs will only climb into the upper 40s Monday and Tuesday.

Light showers will move through the area Monday.

Monday night into Tuesday, it will be cool enough for a light wintry mix of rain and snow.

Temperatures will return to the 60s by the middle of the week.
