CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - After a chilly start to the work week, we’re in store for a major warm up tomorrow.

Temperatures will soar into the lower 80s Thursday afternoon.

Multiple reporting sites, including Cleveland and Akron-Canton, may tie or break record highs tomorrow.

Thursday will be absolutely beautiful, but rain will return by the end of the week.

Showers and rumbles of thunder are on the docket for Friday afternoon.

Rain will become more widespread Friday night into Saturday.

Saturday will be a wet and blustery day with falling temperatures and cloudy skies.

By Sunday, highs will only be in the 40s.
