CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - Clouds will continue to fill our sky into this evening as increasing rain chances return to Northeast Ohio.

Scattered showers and an isolated rumble of thunder cannot be ruled out into the overnight.

Lows will dip into the lower 50s.

A cold front is on the way Sunday which will bring cooler temperatures and more rain chances to the forecast to close out the weekend.

Expect daytime highs into the lower 50s Sunday afternoon with scattered rain chances around both during the morning and afternoon.

As colder air filters in Sunday night, a light wintry mix looks to develop by early Monday.

Widespread rain, sleet, graupel and snow will be possible throughout the day on Monday with daytime highs only into the middle 40s.

This story will not change much into Tuesday as the chance for a wintry mix continues.

By Wednesday the pattern starts to break some, but there will be small daily chances for rain through the remainder of the work week.
