Northeast Ohio Weather: Sunshine and gradual warming the next few days

CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - Sunshine is back and we are on our way to warmer weather this week.

A large area of high pressure is building into the Great Lakes Region.

Expect plentiful sunshine through Thursday.

The wind turns light this evening.

This will allow temperatures to fall well into the 40s and even some pockets of 30s by early tomorrow morning.

The air mass gradually warms tomorrow and Thursday.

Temperatures will be nearing 80 degrees by the time we get to Thursday afternoon.

Rain chances will return by late in the day Friday.
