ROCKY RIVER, Ohio (WOIO) - A dining staple in Rocky River is being given a new opportunity after being told they must close June 1.
Cravings Thai Cuisine announced on Facebook May 4 that they will be closing forever May 28.
A commenter asked under the post if the restaurant is closing due to a developer buying the land the building is on. The restaurant page responded yes, and that they were told they must vacate by June 1.
An outpouring of support for the restaurant caused a change in plans.
In an update post on Facebook, owners say the deadline to move has been moved to June 26th.
The restaurant is in the process of finalizing a new storefront on Detroit Road.
The new location will be between Bomba Tacos and CVS Pharmacy.
